After the success of its first edition in 2023, CryptoXR, the benchmark event in the WEB3 ecosystem of eastern France, proudly announces its second edition. Scheduled for January 25, 26, and 27, 2024, this unique gathering will be held in the heart of the northern Burgundy wine region in Auxerre (89000), the capital of the Yonne department. It shows that decentralization does not only apply to protocols, but to events as well!
CryptoXR 2023 was a massive success, attracting over 500 visitors, more than 30 speakers, and offering over 5 workshops, all within a space of more than 1000 square meters. Building on this momentum, the 2024 edition is raising the bar with a 2-day program, over 50 speakers, more than 15 workshops, and an expanded area of over 4000 square meters to welcome a diverse and passionate audience. Each day will feature conferences and workshops.
Among the top-tier conferences, notable sessions include “the french & european regulatory dynamics” and another focused on “the importance of training in mastering the Web3 ecosystem.” On the workshop side, a highlight is the session hosted by Coinhouse regarding the differences between custodial and non-custodial wallets.
To promote the inclusion of women in this still largely male-dominated ecosystem, CryptoXR welcomes them free of charge on Saturday the 27th. They will be able to attend the round table “women in Web3: how to break barriers and strengthen female presence?” led by female leaders from the ecosystem, and participate in the closing party.
Confirmed speakers for 2024 include influential industry figures such as Owen Simonin, blockchain and cryptocurrency entrepreneur, David Yu, co-founder and CEO of Veve – Ecomi, Bilal El Alamy, CTO of Dogami and President of Equisafe.io, Thibaut Boutrou, COO and co-founder of Meria, and Ulysse Partouche, founder of Partouche Multiverse. This competitive lineup also includes celebrities like Djibril Cissé, renowned experts such as Monsieur TK, a YouTuber specializing in crypto, and key local figures like Crescent Marault, mayor of Auxerre and president of the Auxerre urban community.
The event aims to bring together nonprofessionals, the curious, and professionals in a convivial and festive spirit typical of the region. With an emphasis on accessibility and openness, CryptoXR 2024 strives to familiarize the general public with the WEB3 ecosystem, and has therefore chosen an entry price that is as affordable as possible to encourage widespread participation.
