Paris, September 30, 2025 – Société Générale-FORGE (SG-FORGE), the crypto subsidiary of the Société Générale banking group, is taking a new step forward by launching its EUR CoinVertible (EURCV) and USD CoinVertible (USDCV) stablecoins in the decentralised finance (DeFi) ecosystem. Following their arrival on centralised platforms, these regulated stablecoins are now available on the Morpho and Uniswap protocols, two major players in DeFi.
Stablecoin lending and borrowing on Morpho
The Morpho decentralised lending and borrowing protocol now integrates EURCV and USDCV. Users can deposit or borrow these stablecoins using various collateral: Bitcoin (wBTC), staked Ether (wstETH), or tokenised monetary fund shares (USTBL and EUTBL) issued by Spiko.
The rollout is overseen by MEV Capital, which acts as curator to manage the vaults, select eligible assets, and optimise risk management. With its innovative model, Morpho positions itself as a secure and efficient solution for decentralised finance.
EURCV and USDCV listed on Uniswap
At the same time, SG-FORGE announces the listing of its euro and dollar stablecoins on Uniswap, the largest decentralised exchange (DEX) on the Ethereum blockchain. Thanks to the automated market-making (AMM) model, users can trade EURCV and USDCV without a centralised intermediary.
Flowdesk, already active in liquidity management for exchange platforms, will act as market maker to maintain sufficient market depth and ensure smooth trading on Uniswap.
A clear strategy: integrating regulated stablecoins into DeFi
With EURCV and USDCV, Société Générale-FORGE confirms its commitment to offering institutions and businesses MiCA-compliant, robust, and 24/7 stablecoins. These deployments reflect SG-FORGE’s ambition: to combine blockchain and DeFi innovation with the security and regulatory compliance of the banking sector.
Already licensed as an electronic money institution and PSAN by the AMF, SG-FORGE is consolidating its position as a European pioneer in the tokenisation and issuance of regulated stablecoins.
