Binance Week was held in Paris over the past three days. It was a major event for the entire crypto community. With exceptional conferences, brand-name guests and lots of goodies, this event left its mark on more than one person. Here's a look back at my first crypto event at BinanceBlockchain Week 2022 at the Palais des Congrès!
What a first! Having just joined the Coinaute team, and as a brand newcomer to the crypto world, I can't help but be blown away by such enthusiasm. So Binance Week in Paris was the very first crypto event of my life, and I'll always have fond memories of it. The cryptocurrency exchange platform went all out for its event, and it showed.
Binance in 5-star mode
The highlights of the event were surely the conferences. Indeed, Binance was no laughing matter. The very first of these was undoubtedly the most memorable. It was attended by the platform's CEO, CZ, and Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister for the Digital Transition and Telecommunications. It was a thunderous first conference, with a huge turnout.

But the luxury cast didn't stop there. Over the course of the three days, there were a dozen conferences featuring a host of personalities. Of course, we couldn't miss the presence of Tony Parker. The now-retired former NBA player is continuing his conversion to Web3. The Frenchman showed his interest in Pop Art, notably on his recent NFT project in collaboration with Julien Durix, who was also present.
Former tennis champion Maria Sharapova was also in attendance. Like Tony Parker, the Russian is continuing her transition to Web3. And there was also Hasheur, the famous cryptocurrency influencer.
What a community!
Binance Week in Paris also offered a host of activities outside the conference sessions. From penalty shoot-outs to gift roulette and testing new games, fans were well catered for. A great way to bring people together.

But above all, Binance Week gave me an idea of the crypto craze. Honestly, it's amazing. You could compare it to the world of football, for example. Throughout the event, you see people wearing T-shirts, jumpers and even caps related to crypto. Everyone is talking to each other, listening to each other, sharing their ambitions and it's really inspiring. Even for people like me with a limited culture in the field, it's a real pleasure.
Binance Week is an excellent way of learning about the whole world of blockchain and creating a network. Benevolence and mutual support are for me the two key words of the event.
Binance Blockchain Week in Paris comes to a close on 16 September and it's fair to say that it's been a success. If you're hesitating to take the plunge and attend a crypto event, don't hesitate any longer!
