Téléfónica and Nova Labs announced their partnership on 24 January for the deployment of Helium mobile hotspots in Mexico City and Oaxaca. These hotspots, operating as nodes, will provide wireless network coverage for Internet of Things (IoT) devices. By integrating Helium's decentralised network, Téléfónica will be able to extend its coverage. At the same time, it will be able to offer better connectivity, even during periods of heavy use.
