Do you want to keep an eye on the cryptocurrency prices as a dashboard on your TV or in your living room? There are a few Android TV and tvOS apps for this purpose.
There are numerous apps for Android and iOS that allow users to keep an eye on cryptocurrency prices. They are practical for on the go and can, for example, inform you when a certain price limit is reached. But if you want to see the prices in the office or at home on a TV, you have to look a little further. We present three apps that bring charts to tvOS or Android TV.
Cryptee is made for Android TV
The Cryptee app was developed especially for the TV version of Android. With a chic design, users have the opportunity to track multiple cryptocurrencies. For this, there are daily, weekly or day charts. In addition to the current light-colored theme, there will also be a dark version in the future. A Daydream screensaver is also planned.
Coin Cap Markt also supports Android TV
The Android app Coin Cap Markt, which probably owes its name to a bad translation, usually brings the prices of various cryptocurrencies to the Android smartphone. 21 different currencies are offered by the manufacturers. In addition to the interface for smartphones, there is also an interface for Android TV, which means that the app can also be used on a television.
Cryptocurrency rates on tvOS: the Cryptocurrency Monitor
Without an iOS app comes the Crypto-Currency Monitor. The app, specially developed for tvOS, offers a quick overview of the current prices of various cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin, bitcoin cash, ethereum and litecoin. The prices are updated automatically every minute. However, they can also be updated manually by clicking the play button on the Apple remote control. Another currency can be set by double-clicking on a tile. The app is available in the Apple App Store for 1.09 euros.
Integrated news from Bitcoin Monitor
The Bitcoin-Monitor app comes from a German software company. It brings the daily average exchange rate to your Apple TV. In the meantime, there is also an equivalent for iOS. The graph shows the average values of the last 30 days. If the price falls, the line turns red, if it rises, it turns green. In addition, the app offers the possibility to keep up to date with what is happening on the cryptocurrency market. There is a Youtube integration in an overlay that shows current videos and public hangouts, for example. The app costs 2.29 and can be installed on both iOS and tvOS.
Cryptocurrency rates via Kodi add-on
Those who use the popular Kodi software as a media player should take a look at the Coin Market add-on. This is available in the administration of the add-on called Indigo, which must first be installed. Then it can be used to display an overview of the different exchange rates. Additionally, you can also set in the settings that you are automatically informed when a certain value is reached.
