On Saturday 21 January 2023 in Auxerre, Mètis Mining will be organising CryptOx’R, an event on cryptoassets, to discuss blockchain technology and digital assets.
Presentation of CryptOxR
The event will be held at the exhibition centre of the Centre de Congrès in Auxerre, from 2pm to 8pm. There will be a free, non-stop shuttle service from the Auxerre Saint-Gervais railway station to the Convention Centre. A number of areas will be set aside for the event, including a conference room, a space for setting up partner stands and a TV set, a studio area for interviews and press areas.
The aim of Mètis Mining is to support the rapid growth in the use of cryptoassets by providing a forum for exchanges between players in the ecosystem in a professional setting, but also by including a certain amount of education to enable a wider audience to understand how blockchain works.
CryptOxR programme
During the event, round tables and conferences with expert speakers and practitioners will be on the programme with the aim of unravelling the mystery of this rich technological universe.
Guests will take part in discussions on blockchain protocols, while exploring the essentials of this ecosystem and the technologies involved. Topics such as the regulation and laundering of cryptocurrencies will be on the agenda, as well as debates about cryptoactives and their impact on the energy transition. And a whole host of other topics.
The event will see the presence and intervention of speakers who will share their expertise and opinions on the various topics covered. Many founders and operations directors of Web 3 start-ups will be present.
Numerous guests will also be in attendance, along with other key figures and players in the ecosystem.

Mètis Mining: the company behind CryptOxR
The start-up offers a turnkey service in the form of a technical investment solution for digital assets.
Mètis Mining’s aim is to develop an approach that sets it apart from competitors in this still-emerging market by offering value to simplify the customer experience and optimise their investment.
The start-up has pooled funds from its customers to create a technical tool capable of unlocking value: a pooled ‘mining farm’. This is the first mining farm to be declared as such in France. The facility is located in Toucy, in the Yonne département in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region.
The aim of Maxime Chery and his team during this event is to involve as many players as possible in the Blockchain and cryptocurrency ecosystem, and to get to grips with this new environment through knowledge and investment.
The start-up also wanted to set up this meeting in the “provinces“, away from the urban environment, to share its interest in ecology and the fight against the problems of optimising the energy consumption of the facility.
The meeting will take place at the Parc des expositions in the Auxerre congress centre. Tickets are priced at 30 euros for the general public (15 euros for students).
