Last week, from 12 to 14 April 2022, we attended NFT Day and the PARIS BLOCKCHAIN WEEK SUMMIT (PBWS). We aimed to cover the event and share it with you, with some videos coming out soon.
Highlights of the event
Spread over three days, the two events brought together thousands of people from all over the world. NFT Day and PBWS were held at the Palais Brongniart, a building that wasn’t chosen at random, as it was the home of the Paris Stock Exchange for almost 200 years.
Almost the whole of this historic building was taken over, with the two events occupying three floors comprising several conference rooms and almost a hundred stands.
Last but not least, the three-day programme included a host of conferences with some of the most prestigious figures in the cryptosphere, including CZ, founder of Binance, Sam Bankman-Fried, founder of FTX, and Hasheur.
The atmosphere on site
As always at crypto events, the atmosphere was relaxed and good-humoured.
We were able to meet people from all over the world, from the United States, Eastern Europe and even Australia. The biggest crypto companies were there: Coinbase, Binance, FTX and Bybit. But French projects were not forgotten, with Ledger and Ternoa among them.
Most of these players were there for the same reason: passion.

PBWS is the essential event for meeting the key players in the blockchain sector. Exchanges, project developers, market makers and many others, all the entities that have anything to do with the ecosystem were present.
It was great to be able to talk to them directly on their stands or in the exhibition area of the show. It was even more interesting to hear them talk about their services and their vision of the ecosystem during the various conferences.
Moreover, during the round-table sessions, ideas were exchanged and we were able to acquire a certain open-mindedness about the evolution of the blockchain sector.
These two days at the Paris blockchain Week Summit were emotionally rich with great encounters and great things to come for Coinaute, but also and above all for the whole blockchain field.

Enthusiasm, excitement and sharing — that’s how I would describe these three days of total immersion in the fascinating world of NFT and cryptocurrencies.
Players from all over the world were present at this event for one reason and one reason only: to advance the field of technology. I was able to meet a wide range of people, from students new to cryptocurrencies to experts already working on decentralised projects.
Despite everyone’s level of understanding and adoption, we were all enthusiastic about the idea of discovering and learning. The idea of meeting people who share the same interests and goals makes for an exciting atmosphere.
This excitement, coupled with the general enthusiasm, led to some great encounters and synergies.
Most of the players in this ecosystem were present, with projects in the development phase as well as major projects such as Coinbase. But I believe the most important thing was the sharing and exchange that took place between all these players.
When you put all these points together, you have the recipe for a successful PBWS! I can’t wait to take part in the next edition!
